If a heavy person sat on it, the metal would really bend. Due to lack of packaging and not being very sturdy, the item arrived damaged. I was very disappointed.

This chaise arrived in a huge box that looked like it had been through a war zone. The delivery men informed me to call Amazon, not them, if the item was damaged... I opened the box and immediately and saw 2 major points of damage. The one leg was bent sideways and the end of the seat was bent into a point. I stopped there and wondered how I was going to get the box put back together to return this chair? I called Amazon right away and they said they would take care of it, however I had to wait for the shipping company to call me and arrange a pick up date..... I don't blame Amazon, but some shipping companies just don't take care with their boxes. My advice, don't order this kind of chair online.

I PURCHASED TWO OF THESE CHAISES, AND I THOUGHT, "WHAT A DEAL." $117 PLUS FREE SHIP, WELL YOU JUST CAN'T GO WRONG. THEY HAD INCREASED THE PRICE TO DOUBLE THAT, SO I WAITED TILL IT WENT BACK TO THAT ORIGINAL PRICE. THE CHAISE IS REALLY NICE TO LOOK AT. ITS NOT AS STURDY AS I WOULD HAVE LIKED IT BUT WELL THEY ARE HERE. WHEN YOU SET ON THEM THEY DO INDENT IN. I KNOW THEY WILL LAST A COUPLE OF SUMMERS. BUT IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 200 LBS I WOULD PROBABLY ADVISE NOT TO PURCHASE AS MY HUSBAND DOESN'T LIKE AND WILL NOT SIT ON THEM. WORD OF ADVICE.... LOOKING FOR SOMETHING AND SEE IT INCREASE AFTER, DELETE YOUR COOKIES. THEY KNOW YOU ARE LOOKING TO PURCHASE AND THEY TRY TO MAKE AN EXTRA BUCK. DELETING YOUR COOKIES DELETES YOUR HISTORY TO THAT ONLINE STORE.
