excellent solar lights 2009-10-30 |
| By Mojave Mike (Littlerock, CA United States) |
I don't give fives. These are worth it.
First off, they're LED lights, so don't expect glaring bright lights. Second, they're solar charged batteries - the charging base needs to be in good sun exposure, and you'll need to replace batteries about once a year.
I put these up over a year ago now. The batteries will need replaced soon, but the lights all still work fine.
What I did - I set the rig out in the sun to charge, then that evening I wandered around with it and figured out where I wanted the lights mounted. The next day I mounted lights, and found a good place to mount the base. The batteries get nearly full sun for almost all day, the lights have no problems lasting all night.
These are nicely bright considering they're LEDs. |
Lighting up the flag 2009-08-17 |

| This is a great system. Plenty of wiring, two mounting options and the lights are bright. |
Solar Lights 2009-08-11 |
| By Rocky Enots (Alabama) |
| These lights are by far better than any solar lights I have had in the past. They shine all night. |
Way too dim 2009-07-30 |
| By W. Mueller (Chicago area) |
| Although well made, with a super solar panel and plenty of hook-up wire, the light is so dim as to make calling it a "Flood Light" just plain silly |
Worth the money. 2009-06-26 |

| I have bought 4 sets of these lights (so far). They provide enough light to make my steps safer and light up some trees I want to highlight. |
